Description
AFX M4 PM is a W-Mo-V high-speed steel produced by Powder Metallurgy. It offers an excellent combination of wear resistance, hot hardness and toughness, delivering superior performance in a wide range of cutting-tool and cold-work applications.
It is an excellent alternative to AISI M2 and D2 steels. The PM process also improves machinability, grindability, heat-treatment response and dimensional stability compared with similar conventionally produced steels.
