Description
AFX Wear PM is an exceptionally versatile cold-work tool steel produced by Powder Metallurgy. It provides wear resistance superior to A2 and D2, combined with high toughness and chipping resistance for consistent, reliable performance across many applications.
It offers excellent machinability and grindability, excellent heat-treatment response (up to 64 HRC) and high dimensional stability. It is also an excellent substrate for surface coatings.
