Founded in 1975 in the Tatuapé district of São Paulo, Aços Formosa is a manufacturer, importer and distributor of specialty steels: tool steels, high-speed steels, steels for mechanical engineering and, today, the AFX PM Series powder metallurgy steel line, in partnership with Erasteel (France).
We manufacture silver steels (carbon, tungsten and chromium) and ground and peeled steels from 10.0 to 140.0 mm — state-of-the-art machinery, cutting capacity up to 1500 x 1500 mm and overhead cranes up to 45 tons. Located in the center of South America’s largest city, with excellent logistics, we serve tool-and-die shops, stamping companies, auto parts manufacturers and industries throughout Brazil.
